Straddling the eastern edge of the University of Toronto’s St George Campus and the Bay Steet commercial strip, this residential tower steps back from the edge of St Joseph Street to reveal a landscaped public space, replacing a lane of traffic and responding to a park on the opposite street corner. In his prior role at architects-Alliance, Jon Cummings served as a key project team member, and together with the landscape architecture firm MBTW, designed the public space.
